At first, sorry for the bad responsive design. Adobe Portfolio is by far the worst website builder ever. In mobile version it just cuts off pictures without an offer to adjust them. And the button shouId be inside the frame 😖. I will move this site to webflow, jimdo or whatever soon (they are all more capable).
Ok, back to me – so below you can see some lines about my great cv over the past 28 years. It all started way back in 1991...
...when I did my graphic design studies in Maastricht, where I learned all about good shags, wittes and trapistes, followed by a 4 year stay at HBK Saarbrücken with notorious Prof. Maksimovic and Gert Dumbar who are still hunting me in my creatives. As an intern doing mainstream ads I started in a big mainstream Reklame-Factory called Grey Düsseldorf. The copywriters typed on Mac Classics and the Creative CEOs looked like ridiculously important banking clerks. Then had a creative upgrade at DDB, where I joined the Sony team where there was more joking, partying and fooling around than working (still the output was the most creative in the big house). Then went with the same team to found a dependance of Wensauer & Partner in Düsseldorf with premium clients like Glashütte watches for whom we did bold ads nobody could launch nowadays anymore. Changed the city for a little love and a new challenge to S&F Berlin, doing a lot MB automotive and fashion with Ex-Paradiset Diesel Superstar Joakim Jonason. Travelled a bit for Emmi Caffe Latte Shootings in Rio and Tahiti with the little ad boutique Mackat, freelanced a lot for S&F Berlin, McCann, ressourcenmangel, then perm again for 3 years handling 6 clients and 1 splenic boss in Corona times at Römer Wildberger followed by another 3 years doing BVG at Strobinski, which was not as exciting as one would assume.
Now a free bird again enjoying family life and producing ideas and executions for an Anti-Nazi Drink (go get SEKKO SOZIALE for your next company parties and support EXIT Deutschland)
nature: finnish/german (with a touch of saarlandian and dutch through a pleasant stay at HBK Saar and HBK Maastricht)
some clients: Adler Mode, AOK, B&B Hotels, BaWü, Berliner Zeitung, BMEL, BSR, BW Bank, BVG, Emmi, GASAG, Glashütte Original, hessnatur, Hochschule Offenburg, Mercedes Benz, rebuy, Morgenpost, Märkische Allgemeine, Opel (Pitch WIN!), Pulmoll, Sekko Soziale, Sony, Spielbank Berlin, SOS Kinderdörfer, TU Freiberg, visitBerlin, VW, Würth. Please note: I would never ever work for and therefore support morally bankrupt clients like BILD.
influenced by: family, cats, politics, Studio Dumbar, Kesselskramers, Francesca Albanese, Mohammed El-Kurd, Greta Thunberg, Nadia Zaboura, Nour Abu Aisha, Rene Redzepi, things happening on Neukölln streets, Omar El Akkad, Noam Chomsky, Kristin Helberg, Judith Scheytt, Hanno Hauenstein, Guardian.
skills: creative cloud apps, producing and executing campaign ideas, looks, layouts, prepress, motion, headlining, no coding tools like webflow
Ki? yes, use it and may your prompt-words be well chosen! Otherwise you loose 3 days of your life lost in an artificial hell with 11 finger people and Jehovah's witnesses skies.
likes to do: cooking, family-time, gardening, bistronomy & natural wine, cycling & upcycling, commensality, dj-ing in shabby bars, wood crafting, finding things on Neukölln streets and repairing them
awards: yes, some, but to be honest, I don`t put too much weight in this. I think it`s much more important to perform well in the usual Tagesgeschäft. So one of these trophies could say "Cannes Gold for compressing a ton heavy keynote PDF, so the client can see it on his yacht."
kids: YES! (with superb Capoeira, math and tiktok dance skills)
social media trends: I got a secret direct channel to actual and upcoming flows. My daughters distract me with newest hot shit, when they are actually supposed to turn their mobiles off.
age: please don`t ask. (actually too old for this here, but still having fun – and don`t worry, my kids support me with eternal youth power 🦄)
ability to teamwork: I think so. Please contact my recent 241 colleagues I loved working with.
burn-out`s: I guess zero so far ... biohack: cooking (see here), release stress in soil, loud postpunk, cats and doing many things besides advertising.
why is this website in english? Berlin becomes more and more international, so that should be fine.
