Hi, I`m an experienced Art-Director based in Berlin, who likes to bring messages across in a visually clear, playful, human, "not getting on your nerves"-way – with an experienced intuition for creative ideas, layouts and target-groups.
Btw, that`s the difference to all the random Ai`s, that can produce a lot of shiny stuff, but can`t decide what is the best match for the very nature of a product and the people out there you want to reach.
I try to do so by communicating as natural as possible within the advertising world, avoiding too artificial looking pictures or addy texts. People should like to see and read it, that`s the goal. And yes, you can achieve this with Ai – they`re getting better everyday, but you have to know which ones to use. (did u know, that every Ai has their own look?)
So, enough Ai – let`s travel back in time. I`m quite experienced in crafting old print medias from a past century like bus stop poster, brochures, trade fair appearance or newspaper ads with adobe Creative Suite (yes, they are still being produced and people like ; ). As well as doing "classic" online ads with Canva & websites with Figma (with big help of Google Stitch now, tough times for web designers, OMG) and basic motion design with After Effects.
And beware ... writing headlines (without Ai ; ) is my secret obsession. (don`t tell your Ai-copywriters)
I`ve been working in a lot of ad agencies mostly in Berlin from little boutiques like Strobinski or Römer Wildberger to big ships like S&F and shamelessly took home some awards here and there.
Clientwise I could fill my portfolio a bit – with public transport, health care, energy supplier, waste removal, universities, retail, re-commerce, cars, NGOs, start-up`s, governments and ministries.
Some clients I have to exclude, though. Although using environmentally questionable Ai's (they consume a shitload of energy that is currently causing massive problems with energy supply chains), I try to stay the least morally conscious, so I exclude working for houses like the Axel Springer Verlag. (I guess, I don`t have to explain the reason why, you can surely imagine)
